Developmental Jr Golf Opportunities

 

·         The First Tee of Tucson – Saturday Play Days at El Rio Golf Course.

o   Juniors can register to come out and learn how to play golf in a tournament setting with volunteers/coaches/PGA Professionals at The First Tee of Tucson Learning Center at El Rio Golf Course. Players will learn about the 9 core values along with the basics for what to do when playing the course.

o   All beginner/intermediate players will play on the Par 3 course on the range, while current tournament players 11 years and older will play on El Rio.

o   Target (5-6 year olds) 10:00-11:00am

o   PLAYer 3 Hole (7 year olds) 11:15-12:30pm

o   PLAYer 6 Hole (8 year olds) 12:45-2:00pm

o   PLAYer 9 Hole (9-11 year olds) 2:00-3:30pm

o   Par/Birdie/Eagle (11 & older) 11:00-3:00pm

·         Girl Power – The First Tee of Tucson/LPGA Girls Golf Class

o   Girls only classes at The First Tee of Tucson Learning Center at El Rio Golf Course. Classes are on Wednesdays from 4:30-6:30pm. Visit www.thefirstteetucson.org to learn more.  

·         The First Tee of Tucson – Like Skills Experience Classes

o   The First Tee of Tucson operates out of 7 golf courses throughout Southern Arizona. Juniors will learn the A-B-C’s of golf, golf etiquette, life skills, core values in a fun, engaging, and safe environment. To learn more about The First Tee of Tucson please visit www.thefirstteetucson.org

·         PGA Jr League

o   Team golf for juniors ages 7-13. Players play in a 2 person scramble format, and compete in stages (flags) of 3 holes, before another player or two are able to substitute in. Very FUN and FRIENDLY atmosphere for juniors of all skill levels. Visit www.pgajlg.com to find a team near you.
