MISSION & PURPOSE

The Tucson Conquistadores Junior Golf Program is facilitated by The First Tee of Tucson Staff and is dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women in furthering their knowledge of the game of golf, while learning respect, honesty, character building, self-discipline, sportsmanship, and many other attributes through participating in competitive junior golf tournaments.

The Ricki Rarick program has a great tradition of using the summer months to introduce competitive junior golf as well as an opportunity for more experienced players to compete. The Program is open for junior golfers of all skill levels ages 6 through 18 and/or through the summer of the senior year of high school. Tournaments are hosted on Mondays and Tuesdays throughout June and July. Spectators are not allowed during Ricki Rarick events, however we do ask for parents/guardians to volunteer if they wish. Volunteer roles consist of helping keep score of a group (one that your child is not in), driving around to pass out water/snacks, registration or taking pictures!

The SAJGA is geared towards the more experienced/intermediate-advanced players ages 6-18. Tournaments are hosted once a month between January – May and August – December. Scores will be posted to the Junior Golf Scoreboard for those events that meet the requirements.
